Questions 8-15 Refer to the Vampire: the Masquerade VIP Point Chart. Werewolf: the Apocalypse's works similarly, but for this Standard, we will use Vampire's chart as an example.

  1. What is the VIP system intended to do?
  2. You can earn up to 15 Event XP per year. Can you exchange VIP for Event XP? How about Event XP for VIP? What is the ratio? Which officer approves that? (2 marks, half mark each)
  3. You are MC3. How much VIP do you get as an initial grant for being MC3?
  4. What is the maximum VIP can you earn in one year?
  5. Are you responsible for tracking your own VIP? Which officer can help you with this system, including your earnings and expenditures of VIP?
  6. What are the four main categories of ways you can earn VIP points? (2 marks, a half mark each)
  7. Where can you find the Vampire: the Masquerade VIP Point Chart? How about the Werewolf: the Apocalypse VIP Point Chart?
  8. Refer now to the Vampire: the Masquerade VIP Point Chart. Werewolf: the Apocalypse’s works similarly, but for this Standard, we will use Vampire’s chart as an example. If you wanted your character to be previously a member of another Sect in its background, how much VIP does that cost?

  16. (2 marks total). You are MC6. You were also a primary storyteller for your Domain for four months.
    1. How many VIP Points do you have based on your MC and your service as DST?
    2. What would you write down on your VIP Log?
  17. (3 marks total) You want a backstory tie with an NPC on the Butcher’s Bill. You want your Tremere to have been a Regent in Dark Places on the Map in the past. You also want to spend VIP to buy all 15 of your 2018 Event XP in January, right away.
    1. How much VIP does all of that cost in total?
    2. Which forms do you have to fill in to get that done?
    3. Once these expenditures are approved by your storyteller, your coordinator and the NST staff, what would you write down on your VIP Log?
